Farida Virani

Farida Virani holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration, an M.Phil. (with an A grade), and an M.Com., all from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, she has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management.

 

With over a decade of teaching experience at the university level, Ms. Virani has effectively guided students in Master's, graduate, and undergraduate programs across Business, Tourism, and Hospitality disciplines. Their areas of expertise include Business, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, International Business, Accounting, English, and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Canada. Ms. Virani seamlessly integrates corporate experience into classroom discussions, fostering strong analytical and application skills among students.

 

Beyond teaching, Ms. Virani has served as a mentor for new instructors and has acted as a corporate trainer on essential topics such as customer service, professional selling, stress management, conflict resolution, and time management.

 

An active participant in the academic community, Ms. Virani has attended various workshops and national and international conferences on Commerce and Management, presenting research papers and contributing to the field. Her work can be found on Google Scholar.
